Santa Barbara Public Market Hosts 1st Annual Fall Culinary Festival

SANTA BARBARA, CA – The Santa Barbara Public Market will host its 1st Annual Fall Culinary Festival the weekend of September 20th and 21st. To welcome the season, the market will provide a blend of culinary classes, seasonal tastings, kids activities, and live entertainment. With 15 unique merchants under one roof, the Fall Culinary Festival will showcase Santa Barbara and surrounding area’s plentiful fall harvest, serving up an abundance of flavors and fun!

Tasting passports and culinary classes are on the menu all weekend. Visit each merchant to indulge in a flight of fall-inspired dishes. Culinary classes hosted by the market merchants will be the centerpiece of the festival. Every 2 hours a new merchant will be in The Kitchen providing an exclusive culinary experience. Green Star Coffee will kick start the weekend with classes on Saturday and Sunday mornings. Get the dish from Culture Counter on how to build the perfect cheese plate just in time for the holidays. Enhance your collection of fall recipe ideas with Flagstone Pantry as they showcase local ingredients at Savor the Season: Fall Farmers Market. Belcampo Meat Co. will host a braising demonstration with samples to enjoy! Foragers Pantry, JuiceWell, Rori’s Artisanal Creamery, Santa Monica Seafood, The Pasta Shoppe and Wine + Beer will also serve up a mixture of classes throughout the weekend.

Feed your creative side with a photo booth, kid’s activities, face painting and live music! Performances by Erisy Watt, Lance Michael, Jake Vantiger, Kohjay, Bella Musica and Hot Combo will take place throughout the weekend at various places within the market.

The 1st Annual Fall Culinary Festival is free and open to the public. Join us we celebrate the flavors of the fall season!

The Santa Barbara Public Market is open Monday – Thursday from 7am to 10:30pm, Friday and Saturday from 7am to 11pm, and Sunday from 8am to 10pm.
