Old Italy, New Santa Barbara
Monday, July 6, 2015 – Sunday, July 5, 2015

Foodies, join us tomorrow at the Public Market’s Foragers Pantry! You won’t want to miss a visit from Goleta-raised Sapna Marini Shah.

Shah imports various grains, beans and other products to the US along with her her now-husband Emiliano Marini, who owns a sustainably minded, 750-acre organic farm in the Appenine Mountains of Italy’s Umbrian region.

On July 5th from 2-5:00 pm, Shah will be showing off a few of these products (including barley coffee, aromatic teas, garbanzo beans, and heirloom grain spelt farro) at Foragers Pantry. Read more about Shah and the demo in this week’s Independent.

We’re cooking up great things! Join us on Facebook or follow us on Twitter to stay on top of the latest news for the Santa Barbara Public Market!
